Centenary Celebrations – September 2012

The AGS-Academy Centenary celebration was definitely celebrated in the LIC.  Look at the fabulous outfits worn to depict the different eras, not only by us on the Library Management team, but also by the students who regularly study here.

Furthermore, on Saturday, 29th September for the celebratory afternoon event, when the school was open, it was lovely that many past students came to visit the LIC.  Many of these visitors shared all sorts of memories about their time in the Library area.  They commented on some of the main changes they could see and it was very interesting to meet two who had been past Library Assistants.  More wonderful images and information about the Centenary Tea Party and Dinner is available in AGS Today, Alumni Magazine.
